Great leadership
Kurt has a real gift with working with kids and keeps them excited to learn. He focuses on building confidence and making the game fun and really cares about the kids improving and feeling good about themselves. I highly recommend him.

What I appreciate most about Kurt is his patience and the way he teaches. He takes the time to explain things so the kids actually understand what they’re doing and why. If something isn’t clicking, he’ll keep working with them until it does. He genuinely cares about their development, and it shows.
The best part is hearing my son tell me himself how much his lessons with Kurt have helped him improve on the field. As a parent, that’s really all you can ask for. Kurt’s a great coach, an even better guy, and someone I’d highly recommend to any parent looking to help their child improve their baseball skills.

Parents Ask
Coach Kurt works with players ages 6 to 18. All skill levels are welcome.
Hitting lessons cover swing mechanics, bat speed and power, approach and confidence, and game situations. Pitching lessons cover mechanics and command, velocity development, arm care and efficiency, and mental toughness. Fielding lessons cover fundamentals, footwork and glove work, reaction and range, and game situations. Team training sessions are also available.
Lessons are $50 for 30 minutes and $100 for 60 minutes. Hitting is offered as a private or small-group session; pitching and fielding are individual/private. Small groups are capped at 4 players per session. Packages save money: 5 half-hour lessons for $225, 10 half-hour lessons for $425, 5 one-hour lessons for $450, or 10 one-hour lessons for $850. Team training is priced after inquiry.
Most sessions run out of Bay Shore, NY. Coach Kurt can also meet you at your local town field or a facility closer to you, serving players across Suffolk and Nassau County. There is no travel fee within our standard service area; ask for details.

Bring all regular equipment: bats, helmets and baseball gloves. Wear whatever is comfortable, but sneakers or turf shoes are a must.
We require 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. For package sessions, the session credit carries over if you cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Yes. ESP Baseball has partnered with Mid Atlantic Rage to bring Mid Atlantic Rage New York to Long Island, with 9–12U travel teams, 13U/14U National, 15U National, 15/16U Regional and 16U National teams. Tryout dates are coming soon; fill out the player interest form on the Rage page to get on the list.
