This policy covers the espbaseball.com website: lessons, lesson packages, the ESP Baseball shop, and the Mid Atlantic Rage Long Island interest forms. The ESP Rise app has its own policy: ESP Rise Privacy Policy. We wrote this in plain English on purpose.

The short version

We collect only what we need to book lessons, ship orders, answer questions, and run the travel team interest process.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
We do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this website.
Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Players are often kids. We expect a parent or guardian to be the one sharing information about a child.
You can ask us to see, fix, or delete your information at any time by emailing kgraham@espbaseball.com.

What we collect

Shop order form and checkout	Name, email, phone, shipping address, the items, sizes, colors and quantities you pick, order notes, and any promo code. Payment (card or wallet) details are entered on Stripe’s secure checkout page, not on our site. Stripe gives us order and payment status, but not your full card number.	To take payment, make and ship your order, send receipts and order updates, and handle returns.
Lesson booking (Calendly)	Name, email, phone if requested, the lesson type and time you choose, and notes you add (for example the player’s age or goals).	To schedule and run lessons, and send confirmations and reminders.
Mid Atlantic Rage Long Island interest forms	Player interest: parent/guardian name, player name, date of birth or age, age group, positions, bats/throws, current team or school, experience, town, email, phone, and notes. Coach interest: name, town, email, phone, role, age groups, coaching experience, playing background, certifications, answer on willingness to complete a background check, availability, and notes.	To contact families and coaches about tryouts and the team. Submitting a form does not guarantee a roster spot.
Contact and email	Anything you send us by email, text, phone, or the contact form (the contact form opens your own email app, so the message is sent from your email account).	To reply and help.
Social media	If you message or tag us on Instagram, TikTok or Facebook (@espbaseball46), we see what you send under those platforms’ rules.	To reply.
Technical data	Our hosting provider and the services above automatically log things like IP address, browser type, and pages requested.	To deliver the site, prevent abuse and spam, and keep it secure.

We do not ask you to create an account to use this website. We do not collect precise location, and we do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers or government ID numbers.

How we use it

Run lessons, packages, and team inquiries, including confirming times and following up.
Process, make, ship, and support shop orders, including receipts and order updates by email.
Answer your questions and provide support.
Keep the site safe (spam filtering, fraud and abuse prevention) and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
Send you messages about something you asked for. If we ever send promotional email, you will be able to opt out in each message.

Customer emails collected at checkout are used for receipts and order updates for that purchase.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as needed:

Stripe (payments): processes your payment and collects billing and shipping details at checkout. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
Calendly (lesson booking): hosts the scheduling page and stores booking details. See Calendly’s privacy policy.
Netlify (website hosting and form handling): hosts this site and receives the shop order form and Rage interest form submissions. See Netlify’s privacy policy.
Fulfillment partners: to make and ship your order, we give our production and shipping partners the name, shipping address, and order details they need to deliver it. They may not use that information for anything else.
Mid Atlantic Rage: if you submit a Rage Long Island interest form, we may share it with Rage team staff for roster and tryout purposes.
Email and Google Fonts: we use email providers to communicate with you, and Google Fonts to display the site’s fonts.
Legal and safety: we may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our customers, players, and business.
Business transfer: if the business is ever sold or merged, customer information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.

Cookies and tracking

Our own site does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics tools. Third-party services that you use through our site may set their own cookies or similar technology when you use them: Stripe Checkout (to process payments and prevent fraud), the Calendly scheduling page and widget, embedded social media content (such as Instagram), and Google Fonts. Those companies control their own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works, but checkout or booking widgets may not.

We do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals because we do not track you across sites.

Children and parents

Many of our players are under 18, and some are under 13. Our website is directed to parents, guardians, and adult customers, not to children.

Parents and guardians provide the information. Lessons, packages, shop orders, and Rage interest forms should be completed by a parent or legal guardian for any player under 18. If a player submits a form, we may ask for a parent or guardian to confirm.
We keep it minimal. For players we collect only what is needed to coach, place a player in the right age group, and contact the family.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13 without a parent’s consent, and we do not use a child’s information for advertising.
Parent rights. A parent or guardian may review the information we hold about their child, ask us to correct or delete it, and ask us to stop collecting it, by emailing kgraham@espbaseball.com or calling (631) 392-8708. If you believe a child under 13 gave us information without parental consent, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

The ESP Rise app has additional parental consent controls described in the ESP Rise Privacy Policy.

Your choices and requests

You can email kgraham@espbaseball.com (or call (631) 392-8708) to ask us to:

tell you what personal information we hold about you or your child;
correct information that is wrong;
delete your information (we may need to keep certain order, tax, and payment records as the law requires, and some data held by Stripe, Calendly, or Netlify has to be handled with them);
stop contacting you.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we aim to respond within 30 days. We do not discriminate against anyone for making a request. Because we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, there is nothing to opt out of in that respect.

New York residents: we are based in New York and handle your information in accordance with New York law, including the SHIELD Act’s data security requirements. If you live in another state with its own privacy law, you may have additional rights, and you can use the contact details above to exercise them.

Security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, secure third-party payment processing, and limited access to order and form data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to support orders, returns, and lesson packages, and to meet tax and legal record-keeping obligations. Interest form submissions are kept while a team season or tryout process is active, and deleted on request.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Using the site after an update means you accept the updated policy.
